It will definitely boost your customers' confidence in your wares, thus, enabling them arrive at a favourable decision. My experience tells me that seldom people actually return for money-back. 2) Treatments on stones and diamonds Customers are often inquisitive and curious to know about the various treatments your diamonds, stones gems etc, are subjected to. It is, therefore, always better to train and update your staff and representatives about these treatments. Whenever a customer asks about such things, honesty and integrity should be your policy. Instead of just brushing away the topic assuming that the customer might not understand, your staff should explain properly why a treatment is done on any gemstone and its affects. 4) Break the Ice Coming across customers who think they know everything happens rarely. Nevertheless, a customer is a customer however arrogant he/she may be. You got to tackle such customers with some smartness. In such cases, do not challenge the knowledge of the customer by showing off your intelligence. Just show off everything what you have and try to start a conversation with a general topic and break the ice. Talk about the weather and serve them some drinks. Tell them to sit and relax.
