Tips For Increasing Diamond Sales

Some tips that you can use to increase your diamond sales!

1) Miraculous Money-back Policy
If you do not practice this principle in your everyday business dealings, then it's about time you considered following the money-back policy or cash-back policy. It will definitely boost your customers' confidence in your wares, thus, enabling them arrive at a favourable decision. My experience tells me that seldom people actually return for money-back. Always remember, our utlimate goal is to build an ever-lasting relationship with our customers by assuring them happiness and satisfaction. Through the money back policy, a new customer will always feel secure about his/her investment. Believe it or not, it delivers miraculous reults!

2) Treatments on stones and diamonds
Customers are often inquisitive and curious to know about the various treatments your diamonds, stones gems etc, are subjected to. It is, therefore, always better to train and update your staff and representatives about these treatments. Whenever a customer asks about such things, honesty and integrity should be your policy. Instead of just brushing away the topic assuming that the customer might not understand, your staff should explain properly why a treatment is done on any gemstone and its affects. Put in in a easily understandable language. For instance, explain it as a "clarity/colour enhancement" rather than using the techincal jargons like “treatment”. Also clarify properly if the stone is natural or synthetic. If the customer still feels insecure then give the customer a signed statement saying that you stand by what you sell. This will add credibility to your words and act as an assurance for your customer.

3) Treating the customers
The age-old adage, "One never remembers what you bought or sold or gifted, but they always remember how you made them feel”, holds water when it comes to our business too. It must be an old remedy but should never be forgotten or considered trivial. Always greet your customers with a warm smile and a cheerful face. Keep your temper to yourself. Regularly hoild meetings with your staff and sales representatives to ensure they are at their best at all times, specially before the shopping seasons like Diwali, Christmas etc. This can convert your one time shopper to permanent clients.

4) Break the Ice
Coming across customers who think they know everything happens rarely. Nevertheless, a customer is a customer however arrogant he/she may be. You got to tackle such customers with some smartness. In such cases, do not challenge the knowledge of the customer by showing off your intelligence. Just show off everything what you have and try to start a conversation with a general topic and break the ice. Talk about the weather and serve them some drinks. Tell them to sit and relax. Everyone loves some courteous behavior. Always remember that no one leaves the market area without buying anything. If some one has come looking for something, that some one will go out buying something. If not from you then from someone else.
